You have to respect a man who only writes articles and leaves the seeding for others. Mike is an obvious talent and Newsvine is lucky to have his caliber of writing represented here.

The first piece I ever read by Mike was in Now, a Toronto alternative weekly, about his stint at Maxim magazine. Half-way through the piece my jaw dropped, because I started reading the article without first looking at the byline, and as I read more and more I said this guy is a really funny and compelling writer, who is it? I look up and see Mike Dojc.
Right then I thought, he might just become Canada's next Stephen Leacock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Leacock) or Mordecai Richtler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mordecai_Richler). But now I think he might be on his way to becoming the Maclom Gladwell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcolm_Gladwell) of Newsvine and the internets.
BTW, talent seems to run in Mike's family. His old man Yuri, who I work with occasionally, is pretty handy with a camera (http://www.yuridojc.com).

Mike - one of my favorite authors on the Vine, and a breath of fresh air when you can't stand to read one more political piece. In addition to his work online,
Mike is also one of the few 'real world' print journalists here that understands something I have come to know quite well: A journalist is a machine that turns coffee into copy.

When I read an article by Mike there are two possibilities. First, I learn about a sport I had no idea about, or second, I learn more about a sport I thought I knew quite a bit about. It is no wonder he has he work published in hard copy publications, as he is a great writer.

Mike has got to be one of the more talented and unique writers on the Vine, covering everything from sports, to relationships and lifestyle, to the oddly entertaining. I started reading his column because it made me feel trendy, then about three articles in I realized, "damn this guy's good."
Mike Dojc is a member of the following groups:
